Cafe de la Paix - Perpignan

The personal was very helpful. the food was nice and large portions. seafood plated, burger and steaks very impressive.

A steak and a pizza ordered. both came burned. the pizza was black under amd, the steak was so hard and burned that we gave up after the third steak knife and paid for our starter who was also terrible and left. there are so many other places to eat. there is no excuse to go here. the personal is arrogant and rude. Don't give them your hard earned money they don't deserve. the first time I ever refused to pay for a meal, and I am 60 and had a few shockers in the past.

In perpignan and wanted to have a late lunch. we had lunch in the cafe vienne next door and thought we would try somewhere new. big mistake. eating was very common. my recommendation is next to cafe vienne, they will not be disappointed.

I had a perfectly cooked steak hache, followed by large portion of chocolate Profiteroles which were also very enjoyable. One of our group was not really hungry so asked if they could make him an omelette (not on the menu) which they did.

We decided to spend a couple of days in Perpignan after being in Argeles. We had a fantastic lunch here on one of our days with a beautiful bottle of wine, Il Gusto, recommended by the waitress. The children had pizza along with my wife...and I had a Goats Cheese Salad, it was all delicious. I would really recommend it.
