Cafe De La Paix - Perpignan

A great restaurant in a lovely square in the heart of Perpignan. We were made welcome and food choices were 'adapted ' cooked, as requested. Friendly polite staff. Would recommend.

The staff were very helpful. The food was lovely and large portions. Seafood platter, burgers and steaks very impressive.

Ordered one steak and one pizza. Both arrived burned. The pizza was black underneath amd the steak was so tough and burned that after the third steak knife was offered we gave up and paid for our starter which was also awful and left. There is so many other places to eat. There is no excuse to have to go here. The staff are arrogant and rude. Don't give them your hard earned cash they don't deserve it. First time I've ever refused to pay for a meal and I'm 60 and I've had a few Shockers in the past.

On our recent visit to Perpignan, France for three days we did a lot of sightseeing in the Historic Center of this real nice city. On our last night there we came upon Le Grand Cafe De La Paix and decided to give them a try for dinner. It was a real nice evening and we sat at a table outside with nice views of the surrounding area. My wife ordered the Cesar Salade and I ordered Thon Panini (Tuna). Both were well prepared. Plus we had a carafe of their Sangria and it was very good also. The Le Grand Cafe De La Paix was a good choice for a meal and we would both recommend it.

Pavlova is local taste i ve found this place luclky for rest and coffee. İ wasnt hungry just checked and asked for this
