Casale Dimaggio - Perkasie

We had a very pleasant dinner with friends in casale dimaggio. the service was great and eating was very good. the restaurant is nice and clean and the noise level was moderate. it was easy to talk without feeling as if they had to raise their vote. I really would eat here again.

This restaurant is new and seems to be still ironing out some wrinkles. Service was attentive and friendly but showed inexperience in things like icing wine, bringing out courses in proper order, explaining certain menu items, etc. Food is traditional Italian but flavors and textures were excellent (better than most local competitors). I will likely return before long.

Do not eat here or even try to make a reservation. First when we arrived early for our reservation they told us they do not honor reservations made online unless it’s 6+. Okay, thanks for emailing me back...I made the reservation 2 weeks in advance. Plenty of time to let a guest know. So, we waited for 30 min for a table. After sitting and ordering immediately; our appetizer (fried mozzarella) came out 30 min later. After waiting an hour for our waitress to return...I had to flag her down and she said “yah I know.” Rudely. We asked for the check and left along with 4 other tables who also were not receiving service or food. If I could give less than one star I would.

The service was outstanding, and the timing between the appetizers and the main course was perfect. The food was well-prepared and generous in portions. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.

I expected the restaurant to be pricey given the type, but it lacked a pleasant atmosphere. The waitress seemed very young and inexperienced, and her knowledge was quite limited.
