Old Chicago Pizza Taproom - Peoria

The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious. We have never experienced poor service from any of the servers - they are all excellent.

I recently visited the restaurant after it changed its name. I miss the old name, Old Chicago, because the food was better and I preferred their takeout containers. Although it may seem insignificant, it made a difference to me. Additionally, I don't like restaurants that close early because you never know when they will reopen. They closed early tonight because there were no customers, which made me feel uncomfortable.

The restaurant serves delicious big, thick-crust pizzas and large Italian nachos. I didn't get to try much else because these were so good. The staff was always friendly and I didn't have to wait long to be served. The takeout service was also good, and the pizza reheated nicely in the oven.

I always get the Chicago 7 with the Chicago thick crust and never disappointed! This pizza is tasteful, packed with toppings and has great portions. I wouldn't do anything for a few hours after eating the pizza, but it hits the deep dish pizza hunger perfectly

Great pizza. Sign up to visit beer club. Huge beer selection. Closes a little early post-Covid, but it is worth stopping.
