Jerusalem - Peoria

I visited from out of town on Christmas Day and stumbled upon this delightful little restaurant. The owner and staff were exceptionally friendly, and the food was incredibly fresh and delicious! The kebabs were tender and juicy, while the rice was flavorful without overwhelming the chicken's marinade. For our toddlers, the chicken tenders and fries were generously portioned and cooked to perfection—crispy but not overdone. My kids are usually quite picky, but they ate everything on their plates today! The only thing I would have preferred is a fluffier pita, but that’s just a personal preference; it still paired wonderfully with the dipping sauces and hummus. I will definitely return the next time I'm in town!

This restaurant is a hidden gem! It's rare to find truly authentic Middle Eastern cuisine. I usually hesitate to try new foods, but the incredible aromas hit you as soon as you walk in. At that moment, you just have to sample something. On my first visit, I was recommended the Beef Shawarma, and now every time I get my hair done, I make sure to grab a plate!

Jerusalem Restaurant is a true hidden gem! During my visit to Peoria from Bloomington, I was eager to try a new spot and chose this Mediterranean restaurant. I ordered a chicken shawarma sandwich along with a side of falafel. Everything was fantastic, the prices were reasonable, and the staff was incredibly friendly! I’ll definitely be stopping by again the next time I’m in Peoria!

After missing mediterranean food we tried this place and it did not disappoint. The lamb shank was tasty the falafel was good as well. Serving portions were generous ???????????????? The 40 min drive from Bloomington was worth it ????????

It?s been a while I visited this place but a recent visit by my friend reminded me to drop in this review. This place is truly amazing. The warmth of the people who run this place, the amazing quality and tasty food just leaves a lasting memory which will make you keep coming back. Do not go by the looks of this place. I give a 6* for the tasty food for the price.
