Donna Jean's Cafe - Peoria

Weekly specials, baked goodies, wonderful cole slaw, corn fritters , and chicken salad.

This cafe is in the middle a thrift store which was not only convenient since we were already shopping it has a neat atmospere. I had the ham and three cheese panini with fritters on the side and my aunt had the cranberry salad. The sandwich could only be better if the cheese was melted more.

They have wonderful food! Very tasty and filling. New specials every week. Delicious bread pudding, plus angel food cake and cookies and muffins. The list goes on and on. Stop in and check it out. You won’t be sorry!

After trying various sandwiches and the Oh My Gosh To Die For Bread Pudding, I strongly recommend having lunch, and dessert, and of course take a carry out for dinner or dessert with you to go!! Very clean with a cheery atmosphere, and lots of smiles

The food was great! I had the chili cheese hot dog and the sauce was so good. The homemade desserts were yummy too. Can't wait to go back again and try one of the homemade fresh soups
