Dac's Smokehouse Bbq Campustown

This is, without a doubt, the best BBQ in Central Illinois. The strawberry lemonade was fantastic! The brisket was the best I've ever tasted. The portions are very generous! It's slightly on the pricey side, but the food is absolutely worth it. The homemade pickles that came with the sandwich were amazing; I would buy them to take home if they were available for sale! If I could give it 6 out of 5 stars, I absolutely would. We will definitely be returning!

Both sandwiches were excellent; the brisket was perfectly smoked—tender and juicy. However, the Turkey Club stole the show! The flavors in that sandwich blended beautifully, making it a must-try. The homemade pickles had a unique flavor; they were good, but definitely had a bit of a kick! You won't be disappointed dining here.

We sampled a variety of meats and side dishes, and everything was absolutely fantastic! The brisket was the best I've ever had, and the wings were excellent as well. Be sure to try the mac and cheese—you won't regret it!

The food is AMAZING!!! On Monday with the Gf stopped for lunch and it was my first time. Will definitely return! I had a brisket sandwich with loaded potatoes for one side and she got a pulled pig dog. Both were fabulous! A little expensive, but this is to be expected with every decent smokehouse. If it's cheap bbq, it's junk. Couldn't bring me to spend $8 on a little Mac n cheese tho. Fast service, friendly staff, had a great experience! Come back soon! I would do this against the other bbq joints in Peoria and as a self-proclaimed Pitmaster, I give up two thumbs!

Great BBQ and sides. I had a sandwich at their East Peoria location, so this time I tried their straight BBQ and wasn't disappointed. Well-smoked pulled pork and chopped brisket that isn't hidden behind a ton of sauce. Both were juicy and flavorful. The potato salad was good, but I particularly liked the jalapeno corn bread and the cheesy sweet corn.
