Caminero Mexican - Peoria

While driving around looking for something to eat, we stumbled upon this restaurant and decided to give it a try. It turned out to be a great choice. Despite not being very hungry, we shared a chicken quesadilla and some chips and salsa. The quesadilla was quite filling for the two of us and the salsa had a pleasant mild taste. The restaurant seemed to be popular among locals, as there was a constant flow of customers while we dined. We can definitely see ourselves becoming regulars at this place in the future.

We recently visited Caminero for the first time, and we were absolutely thrilled with our experience. Upon entering, we were immediately transported to Mexico with the beautiful murals on the walls immersing us in the culture. Both of us decided to try the Mexican eggs breakfast burrito, which was delicious. As we finished our meal and prepared to pay, the owner surprised us with refreshing watermelon juice. It was truly spectacular and brought back memories of warm summer days in the park enjoying fresh watermelon. We have definitely found our new favorite spot and will be returning again!

This was our first time visit Caminero and we were FAR from disappointed! As you enter the door, you are transported to Mexico. The murals on the wall are beautiful and submerge you into the culture. We both ordered the Mexican eggs breakfast burrito. As we prepared to pay, the owner offered us fresh watermelon juice. Absolutely SPECTACULAR! Reminded me of warm summer days, in the park, eating fresh watermelon. We have found our new place ! Definitely will be back!

Great service, terrible green chili burrito, very little meat, I wouldn?t recommend, best green chili I?ve found is at Federico?s Mexican Food on Dysart rd, won?t go to Camineros again
