The Other Dawg - Peoria

I ordered a Chicago hotdog that was cold in the middle. After taking one bite, I decided to throw it away. It was a waste of money.

I decided to visit this restaurant based on recommendations about their hot dogs. I ordered two Chicago dogs, fries, and a drink for $17. I was disappointed to find out that the hot dogs were not made of beef. In my opinion, it can't be called a Chicago dog if it's not made with all beef. The toppings were lacking - there was only a sliver of pickle on each hot dog and no relish or celery salt. Additionally, the tomatoes were diced, not sliced. The only recognizable features of a Chicago dog were the poppyseed bun and sport peppers. The service was decent, but overall, I don't think I will be coming back.

Great hot dogs! I always get the Chicago Dog. It's just a small place, nothing fancy! You order pick up in front. No wait staff. We got our food quickly!

Good food, friendly staff, fabulous historical atmosphere. A bit pricey but worth it! Will definitely go back!
