Bidrage med feedbackI enjoyed a comforting lentil soup on a windy day in Penzance. It was accompanied by homemade sourdough bread, both brown and white. For dessert, we had a cream tea, and the scones were light and fluffy. Herr Billy's serves tea from Cornwall, which is also available for purchase. The restaurant has a lovely ambiance, featuring art deco decor, and is located near the old town and art galleries. This review was updated from a previous entry on February 16, 2022.
We had a wonderful lunch here! I enjoyed the goat cheese salad, while my husband had eggs, ham, and chips, which he loved. The tea was served in a lovely cup with a timer for brewing—I'd never seen that before and can't wait to try it at home. My husband was also impressed with his Penzance Brewery Cornish Crown Ale. I couldn’t resist indulging in a bit of retail therapy and picked up some Poppy Treffrey items from the shop. We'll definitely be back next time!
The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming to me and my hungry baby. The food was delicious, and the baby changing facilities were excellent. I will definitely be back!
Our first visit today, the eating was amazing, all cooked from fresh, I had the homemade Moroccan cockerbsuppe it was so delicious, other half had spicy chickens that he said was delicious, we will definitely come back when we are back at our celebrations
Friendly staff and the most beautiful fresh food of all time! if we were approaching, we would be every day!
