Gurnard's Head - Penzance

Stayed here for just one night for a friends birthday. The staff are outstanding, so helpful and accommodating. We were made to feel really welcome. The food was also excellent modern European with lots of fresh fish. Rooms also very clean a comfortable.

We stayed for two nights and our rate included breakfast and dinner in the pub. I was celebrating an occasion so I was happy to pay a little more than I normally would as a treat. We had a car so access to this site wasn't an issue for us. We loved the location for the proximity to the coastal path and enjoyed this stretch of the South West Coastal Path. The rooms were cosy and comfortable. The food was delicious, we enjoyed the combinations of flavours and dishes. I would visit again for an occasion.

We had a lovely, relaxed meal. Although I had to ask for someone to take our food order after waiting for a bit the food was worth the wait, absolutely delicious. Although the food is high quality the environment is relaxed and its totally the kind of place you could go in a pair of jeans and trainers. Great staff who were thoroughly helpful and friendly. I strongly recommend it.

Great pub. Lovely interior and known for food. Huge beer garden. The lady behind the bar made me the nicest Virgin Mary I've had in years. Very friendly and high quality service. Recommended

After collecting customers who stayed there. They could not have given Gurnard's Head the best review I have ever heard. The accommodation was immaculate and exceptionally well presented. This place has such charm and personality. The quality of food and service would be on par with any 5-star restaurant. Fantastic choice for fish lovers.
