Wayne's Family Diner - Pensacola

We stop at Wayne’s each time we’re in Pensacola. Husband always gets liver/onions/gravy. Everything on menu is very good. You won’t be disappointed.

We were very dissatisfied and disappointed. We ordered the fried flounder and was told the fryer was not working. The waitress said they could grill it, so we ordered it grilled with cheese grits, hush puppies, fries and baked beans. The food was brought to us on paper plates and the fish and fries were cold. The fish smelled bad and appeared to have been thawed out or cooked in a microwave. It was not grilled. The waitress was not attentive and brought me a sweet tea instead of unsweet. The hush puppies were not brought with the food and by the time we did get them, they were burned on the outside and mush on the inside. The cheese grits were salty, but bland and the serving size was about an ounce or two. I couldn't even eat the food it was so bad. My son got a grilled cheese and cheese grits. The only thing he ate was the grilled cheese. He got a banana split which was awesome. I paid $50 and feel like I should not have paid at all. I have had better food at a fast-food restaurant. Definitely will not be going back.

They buy all bundt cakes and pies from Sam’s and charge triple the price. They resale these 5 dollars cakes For about 20 bucks which is ridiculous and highway robbery. They do not bake any pies or cakes in that building. It’s infested with roaches. The sinks don’t work. Those red baskets that they serve burgers in they don’t wash in the dish washer. They serve spoiled slimy veggies. Ac don’t work. Ceiling leaks in your food. Waitress use the bathroom don’t wash hands

I had chicken fried steak gravy ,mashed potatoes fried okra.everything was hot,seasoned,and delicious.service was top notch.beats most of the restaurants we've been to in pensacola.Got to try it.
