We asked her who manages the Facebook page because it was handled so well, and she proudly said it was her mom. A few minutes later, her mother came in, and we had the pleasure of meeting her. Even though she was busy, she took the time to chat with us and was one of the most pleasant people I've met in a long time. Noticing that we hadn’t ordered dessert, she treated us to bread pudding and beignets. My friend and I have eaten at many places, but we’ve never had bread pudding or beignets this good—even in New Orleans! Voodoo is tucked away in a mall near the corner of the university and Nine Mile Road, and for us, it’s one of Pensacola's hidden gems. I ordered the ribs with sweet potato soufflé and corn pudding, while my friend chose the grilled chicken with red beans and rice and potato salad. The owner recommended the jambalaya, and every meal comes with the most incredible cornbread. If you get a chance, definitely give Voodoo a try—you won’t regret it!

Don't go! Stay away! If you eat there, they could run out of pulled pork or brisket and I don't think I can handle it! Seriously, but the red beans and rice had some of the best smoked sausages I ever had. The pulled chicken on French bread was great! People, ambience and food are worth visiting. Only to know if you go late can some meat be sold.

I can't say enough positive things about Voodoo BBQ and its staff! Whether it's about the food or the dining experience, everything is always fantastic. I'm a huge fan of the ribs, shrimp po' boy, red beans and rice, pork, beef brisket, fries, slaw, potato salad, and the bread pudding and beignets are amazing! Thank you!

The shrimp at this restaurant was the best I've ever tasted! Having been born and raised in the Fiji Islands, seafood has always been a staple for me. Chelsea recommended the BBQ Shrimp, and she couldn't have been more right—this truly was the best shrimp I've ever had!
