The Wine Bar On Palafox Restaurant

The food was fine, but we where eating inside and they serve us a water with a bug and when we notice that, that we were drinking out of a water with a bug, our server just told us “ohh you just saw that why you didn’t tell me? Haha I’m sorry” and the service was so slow that they had us like half an hour waiting for our check, and also before leaving we heard and saw the server just coughing a lot in the kitchen without covering her mouth or anything.

First impression.... good food and service. Extensive wine list. A Cuban sandwich that would give a Miami restaurant a run for their money...

I really can 't take away anything from this place. The location and atmosphere is just so fun and inviting. The alleyway of tables that are open to the outside just gives you old town vibes. A rainy day? You can still be outside. Plus, there is an indoor dining area and bar, plus a bar in the back for a more traditional setting. The 1/2 off wine happy hour daily is a deal and we enjoyed some very tasty, new-to-us wines because of that. Food overall seems quite good. We thoroughly enjoyed the poke nachos which I highly recommend. Quite a large delicious portion to share. Staff has always seemed nice and attentive as well.

Worst espresso martini I've had, will second worst truthfully. Don't order. Please.

Tonight was my first night at this restaurant. My friend and I enjoyed our food. He had ordered salmon with crackers, capers, and cream cheese on a board. I had a Buffalo Chicken Sandwich with duck fries. The food was phenomenal! Our server was so sweet and very personable! His customer service was a 10/10! We will definitely be back next time!
