Tacos Mexicanos East Hill - Pensacola

It is such a cute truck and I was excited to try it. I got a couple of burritos to try; carnitas and carne asada and they were pretty good. For the price, the size and taste were just okay. I didn’t get the wow factor that is unique to this establishment. I’ve had better at local taquerias and chains. The ingredients were fresh though, they just didn’t mesh all together to create a tasty flavor. I put the salsa on it to enhance it and it was still just okay. I’d be open to trying their tacos! I only got one salsa for 2 burritos? I thought that was odd but maybe one of the burritos already has salsa in it? There’s an outdoor seating area.

Got the regular carne asada and awesome taco to try and I was charged .75c extra for each tacos that I thought was $3 and $4 respectively. The up charge was mentioned in the menu but it was discreetly placed so it wasn’t noticeable and it didn’t really specify how much. Tacos were good but there are better and cheaper ones on the other side of town…

I came here on a cold Friday looking for tacos. I got tacos. They were ok. I got the tinga, the carnitas Awesome Taco, and the barbacoa. Tried all three salsas. They were ok, not great, but the spicy one was pretty spicy, so that's good. I think the tinga needed more tomato sauce, the carnitas (while crispy as they should be) could have used more flavor, same with the barbacoa. I would have been happier had I not paid almost $10 for them, I think. I hate to be down on the place, they are serving tacos in Pensacola, reasonably authentic ones at that. Hopefully they tune up their recipes and prep, I feel like they're really close to being great.

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS BURRITO!!! I have the veggie burrito and was completely enchanted by him. I wanted to take a photo from inside to a bite, but I just ate because it was so good. That's all that remained when I regained the compulsion to take a picture. probably one of the best Burritos I've ever had!

Travel here for vacation and stumbled over this place! We love Mexican food especially authentic. That's as good as it will. Everything was delicious, fresh and the staff was super nice and patient to know that it was my first time there. We'll eat here again when we visit Pensacola.
