Bidrage med feedbackSteeped in rich Irish Culture, Mcguires does not disappoint when it comes to exceptional service and execution of its dishes. I definitely recommend ordering the brew samples to taste what they make in-house for future visits. Food portions are generous, especially the appetizers. Make sure you share or you may not have the stomach space to try out their various, delicious desserts. Mcguires is easily one of the most popular eateries in Pensacola and for good reason. I highly recommend this location. Additionally, make sure to join the waitlist, especially on the weekends! Happy eating!
May 6, 2024 We came in over the weekend. I can't remember our server's name, but she was short, had very short blond hair, and was kinda older. and very country. She was just rude and short with us the whole time like we were a bother to her. I had the prime rib and it was really good, but i also got a wedge salad with it and it had this like gloop of blue cheese dressing underneath the salad and that was just way too much blue cheese. I mean i like blue cheese but that was a crazy amount. I couldn't even eat the salad. The server saw that I barely touched my salad and never even said a word about it. I had to ask her for a refill 3 times before I actually got one. I've had really good experiences here and I will be back again, but if I see her as my server, I will be asking for someone else.
Every year I time I come down to Pensacola to visit my mother we come here together as this is her favorite place in all of Pensacola. Today my mother passed away and all I could think was how I want to go to her favorite restaurant here. K. K. my bartender was so amazing she took extra great care of me after a long, hard, and painful day. She really knows how to treat her patrons. Her cocktails were phenomenal. Thank you McGuire's for all of the treasured memories I've had over the years with my mom and I look forward to visiting and continuing the traditions in her memory for years to come.
My husband and I came her after a long day of travel for a late night meal and this place did not disappoint. The size of the building alone and the interior vibe/decor make it worth visiting even if you just stop in for a drink. Service was excellent throughout our visit. They start you off with a complimentary loaf of bread with a honey glaze on top... super unique! They brew their own beers and also do a late night happy hour. We enjoyed the Irish stout and Irish red ale. My husband got a gigantic steak burger that he couldn't finish, but throughly enjoyed, and I got the fish and chips which I enjoyed as well. As we ate, a late night Irish artists played traditional songs acoustically. We had a great time and we will definitely be back next time we visit Pensacola.
This place is iconic. There is always a huge wait, so I set my expectations high. McGuires is an event more than a meal. You come here when you have friends visiting. The food was fine, but the atmosphere was the real star. Two of the toilets in the women's restroom were filled with vomit at like 7:30 pm. That's INSANE for a place with full dinner service. Our server, Casey, was awesome. He was on top of his game all night even when we started getting drunk and rowdy. Casey, I hope they give you a gift card or something bc I mentioned you by name. P.S. Don't get the garbage burger (Luke got the garbage burger. The menu is not lying; it's foul.
