Dipaolo's - Penns Grove

We went out for dinner to celebrate our anniversary and started with cocktails at the bar, where Sandy took excellent care of us. She is truly a gem! For our meal, we ordered the surf and turf, which was absolutely delicious, and we even had leftovers to take home. Our favorite waiter, Andrew, also took care of us that evening. He is fantastic—always anticipating our needs without us having to ask. This restaurant is wonderful! If you're hungry, it's definitely not because of the service!

We only had one complaint during our visit on Friday evening, July 9th. We ordered Martinis, but they were not served in Martini glasses. When we asked the waitress about it, she mentioned that she thought the glasses would look small on her or something like that. When you order a Martini, you expect it to be served in a proper Martini glass, so we hope this issue can be addressed.

He knew what we needed before we asked. This place is awesome. If you go away hungry it is not their fault it's yours.

Have a new years eve party. On the website they list 2 seatings one at 5 and the other at 8. They have a nice menu, DJ, champagne toast, breakfast after midnight. Sounds like a wonderful event. What they failed to list on website or mention when making reservations is that 5pm seating does not get half of what the 8pm seating gets and actually have to leave by 8pm. So won't get to hear DJ get to see ball dropped etc. Absolutely horrible.

The food was tasty, but the owner was rude and seemed disinterested in the customers. When I raised a concern with him, he was dismissive and inconsiderate. I wouldn’t return because of his attitude; it’s not how real Italians treat people. He comes across as quite arrogant.
