Camillo's Italiano - PENNINGTON

We stumbled across this place on Open table and we were thoroughly impressed. The staff was delightful and the food was excellent. My wife and I loved this place. We will be back.

Mother's Day price Fix menu was very limited. The food was bland. Calamari was decent fit everything else was bad. Ran out of popular desert. Replaced with frozen choc cake- not good. Service was very slow. Expensive for quality.

This is a fantastic neighborhood gem. The chef was exceptional, making sure to check in on our dining experience. They were also very accommodating with gluten-free requests. The atmosphere was lovely as well.

We used to visit Camillo's when it was located in Princeton, and we are thrilled to find that it has reopened in Pennington. The food is excellent, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy. It is definitely worth the short trip.

It was great; two outstanding courses that made an excellent Sunday dinner. The Gnocchi Crema a Prosciutto as a half portion for my starter is one of the best gnocchi recipes in the area. The chicken scarpariello that was a special of the evening was about as good as you'll find. Each visit reveals the use of great ingredients in moderate-sized potions that are simply prepared and with the perfect balance of seasonings. This approach to cooking is something I appreciate more and more every time.
