Katekero II - Peniche

An old school restaurant feels simplified with the hero who is the fish! we chose sea stream fish that was prepared for perfection. putzkartoffeln, salat and veg accompanied the star! many thanks for this heartwarming meal!

Terrible service, didn't know how to cook fish properly. the food tasted nothing but seawater. parts of our order forgotten. not attentive during our meal. If they want a terrible football café, they'll go here.

This restaurant makes one of the most delicious crispy salmon of all time! you can spend more than 3 hours here especially with good business!

Visited this place in the end of July. The food was ok, but not anything special. The service was bad. I would not go back here, but rather try out another of the many restaurants in Peniche.

Have to admit reception area did not give a great impression, but staff very helpful and rooms feel freshly refurbished. All have good harbour views. The breakfast was nice especially as the rate was so cheap. It is not a hotel with loads of communal areas and facilities, but if you just need a clean comfortable base with a pleasant room in which to crash it, this is perfect. Also recommend Entre Tapas restaurant right next door.
