Vaqueros Mexican - Pendleton

Overall, the food was very solid, especially for the price. I took out, and this is the reason for the beaten star. We couldn't get through on the phone to order the site would not place the order online, so we had to go and wait in place the order. My only other handle was that the plates were not marked, so it was a game of “guests who” to find your record. Again, overall a great value, just an annoying takeout process.

Vaqueros is an amazing restaurant. It's your standard Mexican restaurant menu. However, the service and the food is a step above the rest. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly young lady to seat us. Our waitress promptly attended to us with menus, salsas, chips, beverages. The salsa was fresh and very good. She was super nice as well. Our food came quickly and was very good. Probably the best pico de gallo I ever had. My husband had 2 quesadillas and a taco. He especially enjoyed the shrimp quesadilla. I ordered the veggie fajitas. It came fresh, hot, and sizzling to the table. Nice ambiance also. They are located in Pendleton Square. Great place with amazing food people in a wonderful town. Can't wait to go back!
