My son had the best burger he's every eaten here (and he's eaten a lot of them)...great service and a lovely deck too. The fries were perfectly cooked. I enjoyed my Beef Stroganoff although a bit more flavour would make it perfect.
We loved the Belgian fries, sandwiches and craft beer. Small menu. Great games and books and ambience. Wine on tap. A must go to on Pender Isle. Small menu but great. Try the fries with mayo.
Small but very tantalizing menu! Their sandwiches made from local home made artisan breads, with the addition of homemade cranberry chutney, are mouthwatering delicious! We tried 2 different sandwiches and loved them both! Staff were most accomodating and very friendly!
A big city meal in the heart of a small secluded island! Curtis, the owner of Woods on Pender and the Chef is very talented sourcing local, farm to table ingredients in a unique way for simple, beautiful and delicious meals. Had one of the best potato latkes ever which is saying a lot from a Prairie girl. The local lamb curry is to die for. David made us the most fantastic cocktails using local BC distilled liquor like the Pender Sour or their spiked lemonade with rosemary, Earl Grey tea that I'll be dreaming of. The ambience is wonderful, small and cozy with a large deck for summer and a firepit decor is a mix of art deco and mid century modern with cedar accents throughout. The restaurant is open to guests currently Thursday - Sunday for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A definite mus til you visit Pender Island.
