Fantastic food, 1st class service, friendly staff. Great place to stop off relax eat after a walk along the coast beach...
We visited this restaurant a couple of times during our two-week vacation in the area. We all enjoyed our meals, which were of good quality and we each tried something different. The drink selection was also nice, with local ales available. The staff and landlord were friendly and helpful, creating a pleasant atmosphere. Thank you for welcoming both us and our dog.
Lovely break with the new manager. Room was comfortable and quiet with en-suite shower.Breakfast options available from basic cereal through to fully cooked and all made specifically for you via a pre order system. Lunch and evening meals are also available and at basic pub grub which was well cooked, hot and tasty every day
We were passing through and decided to stop at this restaurant because the beach nearby is one of the best in the area. The pub seems to cater mainly to holiday makers, with a row of fruit machines and children's toy machines similar to an amusement arcade. We ordered two pints of Peroni and a packet of crisps, which came to a total of £12.30. It was quite pricey compared to my previous experience paying £5.65 for a beer at a Gatwick hotel. The menu was simple and on the expensive side, with a lasagne, chips, and salad costing £13.50, which is usually a ten-pound meal. The outdoor garden area looked a bit run-down and had not been improved during lockdown. There was also some construction work happening above the pub. In my opinion, the focus should be on making the customer areas more inviting for a warm welcome back.
