Sal's Italian - Pembroke Pines

Ordered pick up before but did delivery today. It took 2 hours from when we ordered. The pizza is normally really good but showed up less than warm and soggy. Highly recommend for dine in or pick up, but do not do delivery. Sadly not recommended.

The New Yorker: suppose to be pepperoni, sausage, fresh mushrooms, onions, green peppers, tomato sauce and extra cheese. I don't know if it really is a New Yorker, but I would've expected all ingredients to be added in a evenly manner. As shown in the picture, there is more green peppers, and onions that can't be seen, than any other ingredients. Mushrooms and pepperoni is minimal portions per slide. Sausage is almost absent in the pizza. Pizza was rushed and was not cooked thoroughly, green peppers were no cooked completely making feel that you are still eating a raw green pepper (hard skin). Same with the onions. Extra cheese, you can see it yourself. Sauce, below a normal portion for a pizza of this category. It was 6pm and the establishment was not busy in any way

I had a hard week and wanted Italian. I loved Sals. I ordered the sampler. Nothing had taste or spices. No garlic or or oregano taste. The rolls were the same, without taste and half size. Stauffers frozen has more taste. I don't like to leave this kind of review, but feel like I have to.

Outstanding food and service. Not familiar with the area but I had to run some errands in the neighborhood and my kids wanted pizza. The pizza was delicious and I got the penne allá vodka with chicken and shrimp. The rolls were fresh and hot and I loved everything about the place. I?ll definitely be back

This was an unexpected surprise! Came here to grab lunch while shopping at Pembroke Gardens today and came here to eat. Great service and food with early bird specials. Great for family gatherings with an Italian ambiance that makes the whole place feel like family dinner. Highly recommended!
