Green Apple - Pembroke Pines

I enjoyed the different vegan choices available at this restaurant. I was especially thrilled to try a vegan arepa as a Colombian who has not had a good one in a long time. The vegan tropical empanadas were fantastic, but the arepa was a bit disappointing with too much oil/pesto/grease, which I was not prepared for. Overall, it was just okay, suitable for a quick meal when options are limited.

I appreciate the wide array of vegan options available at this restaurant, and I am willing to give it another try as maybe this visit was just a fluke. However, the sandwich I received was lacking in flavor and quite dry. I ordered the vegan chick'n panini for delivery, and I believe it could benefit from more vegan cheese and seasoning. It was a nice touch to have vegan "chip" sides available, and I opted for veggie straws. Overall, everything was just okay.
