Center Diner - Peekskill

A good place with great prices. Cash only and personal attentive service. I had the chicken orzo soup which was really, really good and the Italian sausage peppers sandwich special which wasn't bad either. A great place. Edit: have been here a couple times now. The open-face turkey sandwich was awesome.

Historic, deliscous and inexpensive. A greasy spoon but for sure worth you time. Terrific coffee and some great people. Not all of the service is perfect, but Anna and Jizelle(?sp) are really good.

Center Diner is my best diner in peekskill. It is really familiar and tasty.

Great food! Typical diner prices but well worth it. Very cozy. Old fashioned car diner feel. Convenient parking on same and side streets. Friendly staff! Definitely recommended. Plus if you go around lunchtime on weekends you will have the opportunity to find something cool at the Farmer's Market (Saturday, before 2pm and Street Market (Sunday, before 4pm . Great place for a nice pleasant family meal, with friends or significant other! Enjoy. :

Very good food! I got the Peekskil Omelet. Very friendly service and the food came out quickly. It has been around since 1936!! An amazing classic diner. Our waitress has been working here for 28 years! Very sweet lady. I loved it! Keep in mind CASH ONLY.
