Permian Cafe Pecos

Wow, what a jewel in the middle of nowhere. Cafeteria style, all you eat and included above, for the street were two sandwiches, dessert and a bottle of water. Quality food, friendly staff and great value.

Great food and service like their jobs were threatened. Certainly I am biased because my uncle is the boss, but really the food was great!!

Great place to get lunch in the Pecos area. Their lunch menu varies from day to day but they always have a decent salad bar selection. For the price of entry, bring $12.99 at the time of this review, you get quite a bargain. The food is pretty good considering and they offer drinks and deserts of various types for the price of entry. If you're in the area enough, you can get on their mailing list and get an email each day disclosing the day's menu. Last, and I believe certainly NOT the least, there's no putting up with crabby waitresses which means you don't have to tip. And all the times I've been here for lunch, there's not been a line. In and out quick. This was JUST what this town needed on the food front. I hope this helps someone.
