When I asked at the window to have it changed to the original order, they just handed me a sub. When I got home, it turned out to be the wrong one. It also took 15 minutes to get my food. This experience made me question their competence in the food service industry.
I've never had a good experience with the service at this location. Be cautious when ordering through the app, as my orders have been consistently incorrect. While they did rectify the mistakes, it's frustrating to receive the wrong order so frequently. I've tried to give this place several chances, but I'm not sure if I'll return.
The sandwiches were quick and delicious! I tried their cookie for the first time, and it was truly impressive. However, they did forget our chips and cookies on our first visit. It would have been a five-star experience if they had paid more attention to our order.
--- I was left waiting for my Jimmy John's order, which ultimately made me resort to Subway. On August 29, 2022, I placed an order for a sub, drink, and pickle at 12:34 PM. The woman who took my order asked for the details, so I explained that I was parked in a white semi by the bus stop. She asked me to repeat myself, so I clarified that I was a truck driver who had run out of hours and requested delivery to my white Walmart semi. For a while, everything seemed to be on track. However, after 40 minutes, I still hadn’t received my order. I kept an eye out for any Jimmy John's delivery cars, but saw nothing. So, I decided to call. A young man answered, and when I mentioned I’d been waiting for about 40 minutes, he apologized and said the delivery driver was out on other deliveries. I asked if he had any idea when the driver might arrive, but he couldn’t give me a timeframe other than saying the driver had several orders and would be there soon. I thought, “Okay, but this is frustrating.” I ended up waiting another 20 minutes, and by then, I was exhausted. I'd been awake for over 17 hours and was ready to sleep. So at 1:33 PM, nearly an hour after I ordered, I called again. I spoke to the same woman who had taken my order. I informed her that I still had no delivery. She apologized, saying there was only one driver handling multiple orders at once. I then asked if I could cancel my order, as I had no idea if it was en route or still at the store. I was fed up with the waiting and just wanted to grab something quick from the Walmart deli. It wasn't what I wanted, but it would allow me to get to bed within half an hour. When I asked to cancel, she seemed to misunderstand and said, “I’m sorry, I can’t do anything about that.” I was taken aback and said, “Excuse me? You can’t cancel the order?” She clarified, “No, I can,” but I pointed out that it sounded like she initially said she couldn’t do anything about it. Her response came across as a bit snarky, reiterating that there was only one driver. A simple acknowledgment would have sufficed. Regardless, she ended up canceling my order and mentioned it would take two days to process. I reluctantly accepted and we hung up. Unfortunately, this was just the beginning of my frustration, as soon as I walked into Walmart… --- Feel free to let me know if you would like any changes!
This restaurant is incredibly efficient and pays attention to quality. The sandwiches are consistently fresh and generously piled high. They handle the lunch rush with ease!
