The food was delicious and brought back nostalgic memories from my childhood. However, the restaurant was empty when I arrived. The lady serving me was polite, but I was disappointed when I inquired about adding to my large platter for an additional $10. She failed to clarify that adding more would double the price to $20, making it seem like there was no price difference. This lack of transparency in pricing was concerning, especially since there were no prices listed anywhere in the restaurant. It felt like they could easily inflate prices to their advantage. This was my only issue with the establishment. While the food was decent, there are plenty of other Puerto Rican and Latin food options to explore in Paterson. Customers should not feel restricted by a business that does not operate ethically. Overall, the restaurant did not stand out.
