Absolutely delicious food. Staff second to none. Would highly recommend.

The food was top drawer fare, beautifully cooked, presented and exceptionally tasty. The service was attentive, friendly but not overpowering. All in all, a most agreeable experience, and the breakfast was very good too.

A great spot to break up a walk in lovely Nidderdale. A pint, a delicious sandwich, some fine chips and a refill of my water bottle was just the ticket and set me up perfectly for a stroll round the Gouthwaite reservoir.

When I returned for a second drink, the service improved significantly. The staff became more friendly and actually checked in on my meal. I try not to hold grudges, so I’m giving it a four-star rating. Even though I’m not from the area, this was my fourth visit in two weeks, and this was the only time I encountered issues. Perhaps they were just having a bad day, or maybe they aren’t particularly fond of bikers?
