Bidrage med feedbackI played there for the first time and the course was excellent. I'm looking forward to playing there again!
Played on October 14, 2023. It had rained earlier, so we were restricted to cart paths only. We haven't played here in four years. The course was in excellent condition from tee to green. The only downside was the green fees, which were $77.75 – the highest we've paid for a local course.
I would rate the course a 5, but the pace of play was way too slow. They allowed groups of 5 and 6, which is absurd. At the bar, they only accepted card payments and not cash. To make matters worse, they didn't provide me with a receipt to sign, so I couldn't leave a tip.
A nice, challenging course. My only complaints are the strange entry into the parking lot, the lack of signs directing newcomers to the next hole in a few places, and the fact that they don't take cash for anything. Last time I checked, the US dollar was legal tender for all debts, public and private. They told me they quit taking cash due to the fact that they've been robbed, which I found strange since the course is NOT in a bad area, but cash is king. Not everyone lives on credit cards. Businesses need to take that into account and take whatever steps are necessary to protect their businesses from theft so people can pay for things with cash if they so desire. All in all though, I would definitely recommend playing a round at Cumberland Trail !
Played 10-3 2024 and course was in great condition. They kept up very well after a long drought and much rain in a short period of time. Greens were outstanding. My friend and I play mostly courses in Licking and Knox county and this beats many of the higher end tracks. Friendly people and pace was OK. 4.25 Hrs is more than we often see other places but on a week day it was great.
