Very nice owner and tasty French cuisine, it is worth visiting this restaurant on the way to Mont Blanc . I recommend it 100%.
A super auberge just at the bottom of Mont Blanc or in front of it for more than 25 years. Super cozy and fantastic owner. Super food buffet cupboard overflowing and the rest also great. Normal menu complete 16.00 euros. Fantastic weight
If I am working in the area this is the place I go. 13 euros, self service starter, various salads, cold meat, prawns etc. Usually three mains to choose from, then self service deserts. coffee to finish off. if your passing and don't want to pay tourist prices call in. All the local builders and truck drivers do.
Accessible only by car (you cannot walk there this is a popular little truckstop on the French side of the Mont Blanc Tunnel. It is open Monday to Friday but not bank holidays (when trucks are banned from the Italian Autostrade! The menu is simple self service first course with a range of salds, cold meats and the like. Waitress service main course is a choice of two or three typically Faux Filet (grilled or spaghetti or couscous or roast pork. Occaiionally rarities such as hare are on the menu!. Starter, main course,Desert, cheese, bread, water, draught wine all for €12.50 per person! Cordon Bleu it isn't but it is popular with the locals and the Patron makes of point of saying hello to the customers.
