Cass Winery - Paso Robles

We did a wine tasting and had appetizers, and everything was good. Our service was a little slow, but we still enjoyed it.

The food and wines are quite good and delicious. A new favorite. Staff is very professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommend the Third Wheel Tours that is onsite.

The tasting pours were so small they wouldn't even fill up a nipple cup. You need to be careful the sip of wine doesn't evaporate before you can drink it. Great place to come for thin and overdone burgers too. That being said, the pizza was delicious and single glasses of wine were excellent quality and value. Friendly staff and great ambience... Overall 4 star!

Very busy and loud place. Ignored for the first 20 minutes after arrival. Then the server didn't actually seem to have the time of day to have a conversation with us, seemed to be trying to get and give minimal information whilst walking away. Food was good but not amazing. Impossible to work out who was staff and who wasn't as most of the staff were dressed like they were heading to the beach for the day. Wine tasting was literally 5 dribbles of wine spaced out over the whole meal because the staff were so inattentive. Didn't even get offered any other drinks for the driver in the party.

The food has been outstanding every time I have gone there. We usually do a wine tasting with lunch and that never disappoints. I think I actually enjoy the wine tasting more this time than in any year in the past. I do have to say the service was just OK. We were the only ones there for a half hour and the service was very slow considering that. but the food was excellent and the service staff was pleasant even if they were slow. I will definitely go back again.
