Bidrage med feedbackThis place is overrated. The dishes are too expensive for the quality and quantity. The mozzarella caprese was not even good for a single person for the price. For its price, we might as well have ordered the mozzarella salad at Blackbird. The salmone pizza was just plain salty. The vongole spaghetti was a normal vongole spgahetti, nothing too special. The brewed iced tea was just like iced lipton yellow label tea. There were mosquitos in the place; nothing special in the service. Overall, this place is just overrated. Never dining here again.
Ordered almost one dish per category off the menu. Every dish failed to satisfy. With the high price point its a BIG no! Service was also a bit off. Our steak was given as a **** mess. Under seasoned and when we asked them to cook it again, its like they just threw the steak back on the platter and dished it out. They did not ask how we wanted our steak, the chicken was bone dry, risotto was so salty, the salad was just a bunch of greens put on a platter with little to no dressing and toppings. Not to mention the servings cant even satisfy one person. Half a person per dish maybe? I hate high end restaurants that cannot deliver. The pizza wasnt even that good. I noticed that the waitress serving us was picking who she would serve first... not a very good impression for observant guests. Very poor protocol, and its like they judge you if you look like you can afford their food or not and base their service from there. BAD first time for me.
Beautiful location, very spacious, and excellent service. Try their 4 cheese pizza with the honey, also their DOCC Pizza. I wouldn't recommended having the pasta since it wasn't anything special. But try their pizza's and appetizers. This is a place to come with friends while having a few drinks after work. fatgirlsdayout.com
I always judge a pizza place by trying their Margherita Pizza. This is for me the best way to have a global appreciation on the philosophy of a restaurant. A margherita can't lie, there is no fanciness, it is the purest dialogue between an oven and a consumer. I went in this place a few weeks ago, If I remember well, the Margherita was at 750+ which is obviously twice higher than any other restaurant. The toppings were fresh, Mozzarella was tasty and flavourful, red sauce base was very interesting as well topped with fresh basil. The dough itself was lacking of character. There are many places in the Metro offering better crust. I would say that the cuisine of this place really lack authenticity and terroir. Most of the products used are the best quality you can find, but adding quality without soul isn't the secret to make food that you won't forget. Next time I'll pass.
In celebration of its anniversary, Salvatore Cuomo has lunch buffet at P600 M-F and P900 weekends and holidays. The selection isn't extensive (a salad bar, some appetizers, sides, a pasta, two pizzas, and a few things like Zeppole ???? (salty mini bread). ????????????1/2 The "buffet" includes a selection of about a dozen mains which include a selection of pastas, risotto (one dish each person only) plus a seafood or meat option for PhP 300 more. The main we ordered arrived 30 minutes after. Good thing the manager profusely apologized and offered us free dessert. I did not like my fettuccine with Italian sausage in cream sauce. My wife's risotto was lacking in flavor. Our cousin's pork porchetta was a tad salty. But on the plus side, the Tiramisu improved vs last year. Food & Drinks : ???????????? (Tiramisu deserves a mention at 4 stars) Service of dine in: ????????????1/2 the manager salvaged the kitchen booboo by offering us free dessert. The Tiramisu... read more
