I had lunch last Saturday and ordered the brisket sandwich along with a baked potato casserole. Unfortunately, I can't recall the second side dish, but it was also fantastic. The atmosphere was bright and inviting. One of the staff members even mentioned how much she loved her job and her coworkers! Thank you, Pasco Dickey's—you’re doing a great job!
I'm puzzled by the negative reviews here. The staff was pleasant and friendly. The food was enjoyable. I have a few food allergies, but I was able to find a meal here that suited me perfectly! I had the brisket, coleslaw, and jalapeño beans. I added some sweet BBQ sauce to the beans as they were quite spicy. The coleslaw was fantastic! The brisket was a bit on the drier side, but I hadn’t tried it before and I assume that's how it's supposed to be cooked. Overall, it was good. It’s a little pricey, though.
This is a charming little restaurant. I appreciate that the meat isn't overly seasoned, allowing me to choose my own sauce to enhance the flavor. Many barbecue places tend to mask the quality of their meat by drowning it in sauce, but here, I enjoyed being able to control the amount myself. The meal was definitely worth the price. The waffles and beans were delicious, too. Plus, the staff was very friendly and made the experience feel more personal than what I'm typically used to.
