He tried it for the first time last week and loved the poutine, even though he picked off the cheese curds. I returned today and encountered Mr. Grumpy. A word of advice: hire staff who smile, and your business will thrive!

Excellent dining experience! The poutine is fantastic. I really enjoyed the pork dish. The baked potatoes were delicious and full of flavor.

The customer service is excellent, and all the dishes looked appetizing during my visit on March 17th. This was my first time here, and I will definitely be returning soon.

We live about 25 miles away, but often make the trek to eat here. There are a lot of other places that make something they claim is Poutine , but somehow they screw up the gravy or cheese. Not here. The Authentic is the best poutine I 've had outside of Quebec! Crispy fries, squeaky cheddar cheese curds, amazing Brown gravy. Mmmmm. The Spuddburger is basically an Authentic on a burger... possibly the best of both Canadian and American comfort food. So good! The staff and owner are friendly and helpful. Spudds is definitely recommended, especially if you 're a Canadian expat looking for a real taste of home.
