Salt Straw Pasadena

The decor was vibrant and inviting, and there was quite a wait outside. Our server, Skyla, was incredibly patient and delightful as I sampled all the fantastic flavors.

I had a crazy experience there just the other night. This young kid services is. This attitude was way out. Not only the attitude but he grave the waffle cone with the napping. Which I already saw him putting his hand on the waffle cone without the napping. So I told him I wanted the a cup instead. So he decided to put it back with the with his hand. Which I think it was a no no for me. But thats me tho.

The sea salt-flavored ice cream was not enjoyable at all; the melted syrup drizzled over it ended up going straight into the trash. I wouldn’t recommend it.

I enjoyed the ice cream there but it definitely not worth the long line and high price. TBH, you could get some much better tasted ice cream from Trader Joe’s. Waffle cone is super sweet and doesn’t taste good.

I generally prefer sherbets to ice cream, so I might not have appreciated this place as much as others. I did try the only sherbet they offer, and it was okay—just a bit on the salty side. One downside is that there isn’t much seating available, although it seems like they could fit some chairs and tables. Additionally, the slogans and descriptions explaining the Salt and Straw name on the walls are a bit confusing. But ultimately, you're here for the ice cream!
