Naga Naga Ramen - Pasadena

I visited this restaurant for a late dinner in January 2020 while staying in Pasadena for just one night, and I chose it from three options in the area. I wasn't disappointed. I tried the winter special, which came with extra thick noodles, fresh garlic, and thick slices of pork. The broth was similar to her junk special – light and flavorful, which I really enjoyed. However, I didn't care for the extra thick noodles and probably wouldn't order them again. Everything else was quite good. The thick pork resembled Chasu, but it was actually very tender and not as tough as I had anticipated. I finished my meal with a matcha brownie for dessert, which was delightful.

We got here right at opening, and our food was in front us within 5 minutes. super quick staff, and always came to check on us, so nice! it?s also just very pretty, i recommend the matcha flan. I also really liked that the portion sizes were finish able. totally recommend!

It's not bad, but it just falls a little short into many areas. Their noodles are, for example, a touch over boiled. I'll say that her Kaedama is quite generous, including some extra topping. Your signature is not bad either.

Excellent food. We have the koku tonkotsu ramen with the extra seasoned egg and the broth was so tasteful and rich. It seems they cook their pigs for many hours. Garlic cloves, spices, green onions, mushrooms. Most of their noodles are thin I love. We also have the Gyoza, the dumplings. They were juicy and crispy at the same time. The insides are well seasoned and cooked exactly the right way. The service was good. The food came out quickly. Parking is available in one of Pasadena's public parking spaces. They also offer alcohol here. If that's your taste! One of me. Very recommended!

From Houston, I can get equivalent or cheaper ramen in similar quality. But for near LA the price and service are excellent. On recommendation stayed and waited 30 minutes in a line on a Friday night not sure if I would do it again, but the service was fantastic (also gave us a cup for our left green tea to go).
