However, there was one issue: customers who order online often come in and stand near the kitchen, creating a crowd that lingers most of the time. This primarily affects the tables closest to the kitchen. I'm sure if I had sat on the other side of the restaurant, I wouldn’t have even noticed. It would be beneficial for them to create a designated area for order pickups to help maintain a pleasant atmosphere.
We had a really nice stand with a lot of space. the water was delicious with essence of mint and gurke. the waiting staff was muded, but I could still feel that it is important to me. jenifer was our server name and I also really loved the female food runner. the food was so satisfying and tasty. I would continue to pursue this establishment.
Menu posted on the website is very inaccurate. Actual prices are a third to 50% higher at the restaurant. Also, the place is dirty. Table top was smeared by a dirty rag. No tablecloth or even paper placemat. Silver wear was placed directly on this dirty table. The waiter tried his best, but the place does not have any of the things that would make it a nice dinner experience. The health department needs to make an inspection. I am giving it this review based on how dirty our table was, how unpleasant the space was, and the big disparity in the prices on the actual menu vs. the online menu. Deceptive and very misleading.
We had a dinner reservation on a Friday night and it was busy. They must be short staffed as it took forever to get our food. We always enjoy the food but the wait was way too long.
We visited on a Wednesday night and noticed that the decor and layout of the restaurant have changed; it no longer feels gracious or elegant. The background music was irritating and added to the discomfort. Initially, we were seated in a cramped corner (which I insisted we change). Our meal was frequently interrupted by the constant flow of people picking up their orders, which was quite distracting. The host also served us, but she seemed overwhelmed and unfamiliar with the menu. At one point, it felt like we were being wrongly accused of being difficult customers, which was absurd given we were paying $21 for a single dish. The atmosphere was further disrupted by loud conversations in Spanish and an impatient vibe; they seemed eager to rush us out despite our arrival time of 7:15 PM. Overall, both the service and ambiance have deteriorated. While takeout is available, it should exist separately from the dining experience. The staff needs to present themselves more professionally. I even had to signal one of the tattooed staff members just to get a fork and a napkin because they were out of cloth napkins. If the restaurant is facing difficulties, it’s crucial for them to improve their offerings and make the overall experience more deluxe, especially since they charge such high prices. A dinner for two with a beer should not cost $100. Alternatively, they could consider a more casual, market-style setup with lower prices. I also noticed that the seating was worn down, making it uncomfortable to see the table properly. The current decor feels dated, sad, and rather unappealing. This restaurant seems to be struggling and is not delivering on its brand promise. Moving forward, I think I'll just take my business elsewhere.
