Founders Tavern Grille - Pasadena

Went here with my family after a baseball tournament. Service was amazing and the place had a cool atmosphere with maps on the wall. Water melon and mozzarella cheese appetizer was AMAZING! If they have this available I suggest trying it. The reason for three stars is the burger I ordered. On the menu it’s listed as a smash burger but as you can see from the photos there’s nothing smashed about it. I even got two patties expecting a smash burger and I end up with a burger with two large patties. The A/C was also broke so it was Hot! Overall I would visit again and try something else on the menu.

When a first bite gives you goosebumps, you know your eating experience is about to be dialed all the way up!!! First visit here and it will not be my last, sooooooo good!?

Impressive, have not enjoyed a restaurant meal this much in a long time. The pastrami Reuben was one of the best I ever had. Service was good and the outdoor seating area was just the right mood. I will definitely be back

Ever since it opened around a decade ago, Founders has been one of my favorite places to eat lunch or dinner. Even though it's a relatively small menu, there's a wide selection and no matter what mood I am in, I can always find something great to eat.

Founders is a great neighborhood spot for a delicious meal. We stopped in on a Saturday and it was busy, with lots of folks waiting for tables. They have outdoor seating in the warmer weather and a full bar. We saw lots of families with small children and some larger groups too.We waited around 20-30 minutes for a table, and grabbed a drink at the bar while waiting. Karina was so friendly and very knowledgeable about all things whiskey!We ordered the pork belly appetizer, a wedge salad, Maryland crab soup, the burger, chocolate cake and their apple dessert. Everything was delicious. Very friendly staff and attentive service.
