Fish House Diner - Parsons

Good food at a decent price. Had the fried catfish fillets as safe as anything else. Great customer service, but ABSOLUTELY no cell service, at least for Verizon, but that cannot be helped. The tea tasted different, not bad, but different. Good place to eat when you're in the area.

I have eaten at many restaurants that specializes in catfish. Some are upscale some, not so much! Long story short. The Fish House Diner is an excellent place to dine! Good family atmosphere, the best fish in the country! Their onion rings are great and the best sweet potato fries ever. Also, sometimes they have BBQ which is as good as any and better than most! The only place my wife ever got baked fish that she would eat! (She’s picky about fish otherwise we wouldn’t drive over 100 miles to eat there)! If you’re disappointed here, then something is wrong with you!

I'm from Tennessee originally, but live in Arizona now days. Recently went home to visit the folks and had the good fortune to be introduced to this fine restaurant. I like catfish and hushpuppies, but I've actually been missing the boat for a long time so good. Delicious food, a staff that seems like family, a comfortable local place. If you're close by, please give'm a try you will not be disappointed. I'll always make it a habit to stop by when I'm in Tennessee.

I love their grilled fish. Best times are Thursday or Friday especially in the winter months as they can run out. Fish is caught fresh so not an issue in the summer months. Warning: Credit and Debit cards are NOT accepted.

We ordered the catfish steaks, which were cooked to perfection and tasted fantastic. The meal came with white beans, a baked potato, and cold coleslaw. You can choose between mayo or vinegar, and there were also hushpuppies served. Overall, the restaurant was clean and had a great menu selection.
