Commercial Hotel Parkes

I am coeliac and asked for the steak sandwich with out bread as everything else on the menu (set menu of 5 items) either was battered or crumbed and the bartender taking our order called me a weirdo. So anyone with allergies i recommend you go to the Cambridge hotel as they will welcome you openly. I will never set foot in this hotel again and i have told everyone i know not to bother going there. Good luck from the weirdo

This place really pulled out all the stops in terms of customer focus. From the door staff to the bar staff all were welcoming and friendly. They even went to the trouble of asking the chef to whip up an off menu spaghetti bolognese for our fussy kid. The benefit of a Thai menu option was a pleasant surprise we didn’t expect on entry, and dishes didn’t fail to deliver on flavour. Good food at a reasonable price, but it was really the friendly and top class customer service that made this stand out!

Wow. here for a $12 Parma on a Tuesday night. very filling and absolutely delicious. thought about dessert, but not enough room

Enjoyed dinner there during the Elvis Festival, well cooked and presented. Very friendly staff at an extremely busy time for them. Across the street from thr Parkes Leagues Club where a lot of the concerts were staged so very hamdy!

I don’t mind pub food. The pub in Ouyen Victoria does a great job. This place didn’t. Maybe if you were a hungry male looking for a big feed after work it would be okay. I had chicken with basil and bacon sauce. He had crumbed lamb chops. The cutlets were a dark crumbed cholesterol nightmare. The chips weren’t good- cheap oil? The chicken was tough as. The ambience is not wonderful- aging dark country pub. Staff were pleasant Next time we’ll try the Services Club.
