El Sarape - Parker

Went for lunch. Beans and rice amazing. Beer in bottle was warm. No cold glass was brought out with the beer as it was the last time, which was our first time, we were there. The Tortillas in my Quesabirria tacos were just dripped in the sauce and not pan-fried at all (see pictures). The Carne was tasty but the rest was bland. All I tasted was the meat. Our other meal was another taco trio...the Santa Ana Tacos maybe? The corn tortilla was dry and it was bland. I had a bite and knew I had won. Again beans and rice are delicious. Chips are ok but salsa is super thin. The salsa bar was ok. We liked the Verde. Felt maybe like we weren't welcome. Very strange vibe. Won't be going back.

Decent atmosphere and friendly staff. I ordered the enchiladas, and they tasted very far from authentic Mexican, with the tomato sauce having a ketchup like taste. They also struggled with allergens (specifically gluten) since there was a language barrier with the kitchen staff. They recommended a taco salad for my wife (celiac). The food wasn 't bad, but also not great. Dietary restrictions: Not very knowledgeable about gluten

I never was seated. I went in stood at the wait here sign and was ignored. There were a group of employees sitting at a table 5 feet away from me and they ignored me. I will take my money somewhere else?????
