Stella Nera - Paris

I drove from Jackson, TN specifically for the fantastic food, and it was absolutely worth the trip. The Tuna Tartare was incredible. The filet was so tender it could be cut with a fork. The gelato was delicious, and the lasagna was served in no time. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and located in downtown. We will definitely be returning—it's the best restaurant in West TN!

Would you be willing to spend two and a half hours at dinner? We certainly have—twice! The reason? Fresh pasta, fantastic sauces, and beautifully delicious salads all at a reasonable price. Additionally, the wood-fired pizzas, gnocchi, and gelato provide even more compelling reasons to visit Stell Nera. And don’t forget to try the cannoli with an espresso; their coffee is excellent and reasonably priced. We were thrilled to discover this charming bistro in Paris and returned the following week because we enjoyed it so much. Paris, you’re fortunate to have such a remarkable dining experience in your city. I'm quite envious!

The decor is charming, and the food was enjoyable. While the menu is somewhat limited, there are often several specials available. In fact, there were so many specials that they weren't all listed anywhere. Both the portion sizes and prices were appropriate for the atmosphere, and the food offered an authentic taste.

Absolutely fantastic. Food is fresh and taste great. They have a meal for $8.00 it is a sandwich, fresh chips, drink and gelato that they make in the house and they have pastries to die.

I'm not sure how this only has 3.5 stars. Most of the fast food joints in this area have that rating. Stella Nera has the most incredible atmosphere, kindest staff, and delicious food bar none. It's certainly the nicest local restaurant Paris, TN has to offer. The restaurant buys local but also takes care to source ingredients global to protect the authenticity of the dishes they're serving. I would suggest dressing up a bit as you will feel underdressed by your surroundings if you don't. Paris TN is lucky to have this little gem right here in our town square. These ratings are disgraceful.
