La Fille du Boulanger The Baker's daughter is a jewel of a bakery. You can smell it while you see the Rue des Batignolles and first in the morning and at noon time you can usually see the snake sneak out of the right entrance door. The handcrafted baguettes are delicious. If you need one for a picnic later, choose one with seeds to keep them very good for several hours. The Sesam Baguette is beautiful! Other simple pleasures? Croissants clear or with almonds and chaussette aux pommes apple turnover. Ah, and their pain aux raisins we have even better to find in Paris, and we have done a lot of research in the 17e and other arrondissments. There are also excellent lunch flavors and their madeleines are also the real thing, especially purchased first when they are fresh from the oven: with a delicate croustillant outside and fluffy moist inside: perfect to dip into your tea or coffee! The staff is sweet always friendly with visitors whose French is limited! and there are always more tasty until you try something new.
Large bakery for bread and pastries. Croissants were light and fluffy. Bread was beautiful and crisp and only a little over 1 euro bread is the best bargain in France.

Great bakery for both bread and pastries. Croissants were light and flaky. Bread was lovely and crisp and just a little over 1 euro - bread is the best bargain in France.
