Il Farniente - Paris 14e Arrondissement

We came to Il Farniente on our first night in Paris myself, my colleague, and 10 American college students. We were jet lagged but so happy to be there. Our meal was fantastic everything! I had the fettuccine with ham and cream sauce which was divine. All 12 of us loved our dinner! I came back a week later and had the gnocchi also excellent. I know all of the students will be back too. Highly recommend!!!

I came to this restaurant with a group of friends. We were all studying abroad in Paris, and stumbled upon this restaurant. I had a magnificent time. The owner was a kind, funny, and incredible chef. The food was VERY delicious, it’s authenticity reminded me of a warm Italian home. I highly recommend this place and plan to go again this week!

Came here with my girlfriend when visiting Paris and staying in the 16th. The atmosphere was nice and the restaurant seems to be family owned, note that almost no workers speak english. Regardless, the food was delicious and the portions were massive. I got the alfredo with ham and my girlfriend ordered the marinated orchiette chicken pasta and both were sublime. Prices were fair for the area and service was good.

Top! Delicious homemade Italian dishes, Fettuccine with chantarels was fantastic, creamy, full of flavour. Very friendly and quick service.

Terrible place! We have just arrived to Paris with lots of luggage and we couldn’t place it in the hotel, as there was a misunderstanding. We wanted to eat and charge our phones. Eventually, we were disrespectfully kicked out on the street! The worst service I have ever faced. Shame!
