Bidrage med feedbackWe had just finished fighting the crowds at Sacre Cour and just wanted to find something authentic our first meal in Paris. My 14 year old can be picky, which is one reason we opted for Italian. But let me say, it was a wonderful first dinner in France for her and for me! This restaurant is situated in a quieter part of Montmartre, walking distance from the droves of tourists. Yet, it was definitely authentic. I believe we were the only clients speaking English, which was nice, assuring us we hadn't wandered into a trap! The staff were generous and served up great pasta and lasagne!
Small restaurant with a big atmosphere. The service, food and wine were excellent with many choices for our family of vegetarians and pescatarians. Wonderful evening, thank you.
We visited here as a couple in April 17 on a Sunday night. The restaurant was busy and a had a great atmosphere. Typically I'm not too keen on sitting too close to other groups (I.e. Feeling crammed in) and this was borderline, that's the only slight negative though (and in fairness, when a other table left they did move the tables). Service was great, really attentive without being overbearing, and the staff had a good sense of humour. We had both had a cheese/meat plate - mozzarella and Italian meat type things but a different cheese to mozzarella. We also both had ravioli - mine stuffed with artichoke and cheese and topped with shredded dried beef in a cream sauce, and my partners spinach and ricotta Ina. Tomato sauce with Parma ham. Both were very nice.Presentation is rustic, but that's exactly what I'd expect given the atmosphere; it was all about the flavour which was very good. We'd go back if in Pigalle / Montmartre again.
We needed to add some nightlife into our Parisian experience, so we took the Metro from our hotel near to Eiffel Tower to catch some jazz at Autour de Midi. We wandered the neighborhood specifically looking for an Italian restaurant. Their sister restaurant across the street had a wait, so we slipped in here. It's very cozy and full of locals.Service was friendly and welcoming, even though we're just tourists. I ordered the Veal Saltamobca and accompanying my pasta was AMAZING- extremely flavorful and firm perfection. My husband had the lazana and enjoyed it, too. Easily one of the best meals we had in Paris.
Great quality pasta dishes. Could not fault our choices. Prawn linguine and a veggie pesto style rigatoni. Top notch. Reasonable prices. Cozy vibe. Buzzing. A quality establishment.
