Bidrage med feedbackWe stumbled over this gem while exploring the streets of Paris. It has a very nice atmosphere, simply decorated, and....the bathroom was spotless! (Could not say that about too many places, sadly.) The best was that we could have a small portion of something simple - a freshly baked brioche with homemade jam, and a small salad that was fresh and crisp, not swimming in dressing. The waitress was lovely, and giggled at my efforts to remember my highschool French in such a friendly way - I would go back to this place in a heartbeat.
This is way too expensive to eat, I paid €14 for a croque monsieur, and it was not even a big one. We not coming back anymore. And the lady behind the counter should smile a bit!!
Well. The croissants were Nice. No doubt. The coffe was good. But actually: Le Pain Quotidien offered the worst service of all the Places we visited during Our 5 day stay in Paris around New Year. Which means, it was OK, but not a Place I'd like to visit again.
We stayed at a hotel nearby and used it several times for breakfast. They offer a good basic breakfast with croissant, bread, coffee or thea and a Juice. Optional egg etc. Sufficient good quality food to start the day and cross town. We like to walk as one see's most. The interior is sober and sturdy.Very recommenable.
Our hotel was very close to this restaurant. We absolutely loved this place! Great service. Everything on the menu was delicious . . . I know because we ate here 4x during our stay. If you like healthy fresh California style cuisine, this is the place you want to go to! 10 stars.
