Le Hangar - Paris

I went alone and was satisfied with the atmosphere and service. This place is like a classic French bistro. The duck-based soup, steak, and creme brûlée were all good. The ingredients and food are good, so be sure to bring plenty of money in your wallet.

We’ve eaten here 3 times, once in 2005, then in 2008, and today in 2024. It has never disappointed. Still a Paris favourite.

Cosy place. Great French food. Great service. The tartar de bœuf was delicious. The suprême de volaille with the special rice was delicious as well.

We were looking for a nice quiet classic French dinner, and Le Hangar delivered. They seated us outside where it was a lovely evening. The proprietress was warm and welcoming. The tomatoes with fresh burrata salad was excellent. The creamy lentil soup was delicious. The beef tenderloin and potatoes were all so tasty. Highly recommend this lovely restaurant.

This restaurant is out of the way so if you don't know it's there, you will not see it. But nonetheless, people know about it, and it doesn't stay empty. I found out about it by reading google map reviews of restaurants with good ratings. This appears to be a family owned restaurant with great food and wonderful service. I visited this restaurant for lunch, and ordered a glass of red wine, cream of lentil soup with foie gras, beef stroganoff and chocolate souffle. The food totally exceeded my expectations. I read in the reviews that beef stroganoff was good, and it was, but the highlight of the meal for me was the soup. I don't think I have ever eaten a better lentil soup. This will definitely be a place to visit for me when I'm back in Paris. I absolutely highly recommend it.
