Bidrage med feedbackI have been to the L’Atelier Robuchon in Tokyo, Taipei and Hong Kong. They were all very good especially the food quality. And was looking forward to try the Robuchon in Paris finally. Maybe my expectation was too high, but this one in Paris, the service is not great and the food is so so. The bread basket selection is disappointing and they only have one butter and ran out. How can a Robuchon has no butter The food we order was messed up in order, some dishes were missing. And most of all, the food is not really as good as expected compare to the ones in Asia. Michelin lost their credibility if this is a Michelin starred restaurant.
ATTENTION: THIS PLACE IS A SCAM FOR TOURISTS. Don’t not go to this place ever and here is why: 1. The food is horrible. The duck did not taste good,it had a gamey taste which means it is NOT FRESH at all. The salmon was completely tasteless, I cook better salmon myself. The red sauce was watery and the taste did not go well with the salmon. The appetizer was small and also very underwhelming taste. The portions are very tiny for what is considered a “main dish”. The strawberry dessert was also really disappointing , I didn’t even know you can screw up a dessert this badly. The green basil gelato was sooo watery, it didn’t feel like gelato at all. The flavours are also very off and don’t go well with each other. The strawberries were not in season either. 2. The service is not up to the standard of a Michelin restaurant. They were not that busy during lunch time but full failed to provide good service. We asked for water and had to wait a really long time for it. When the waiter brought it to the table, they did not even fill our cups, they dropped it on the table. When asking for the bill, it took then 20 minutes to arrive with the payment machine. Overall the food here is extremely bad and should not hold their reputation as a Michelin star restaurant. I don’t mind paying high prices for good food but this place was just disappointing in terms of food taste and quality, of value, of service and overall experience. It’s very easy to get a reservation here, in fact most times you don’t even need one because it’s always empty. Please stay away from this place at all cost, it’s truly a tourist trap. Go try some restaurant that’s actually worth it’s Michelin star title.
The price indicated here is no longer correct. There are 185€ for the big menu, but also a band more. There is also a smaller variant with 2 gears less for 125€. We always come here, fortunately we can test the L'Atelier in St. Germain the next time.
A must-see place by the quality of its kitchen and the attention of its staff, very friendly without being familiar. being installed at a bar making the tower of the kitchen allows to observe the variations of the cooks, which evolve in a serenity perfectly adapted to the place and under the sharp gaze of the chef. excellent dishes. the tasting menu is recommended. a must-have table of bets
