L'arome - Paris

I cannot say enough positive things about this restaurant and the experience we had there. We recently completed a month-long trip through the UK and Europe; this was by far and away the best experience of the holiday. The food and the service were extraordinary. We went to other Michelin star restaurants, and this was far superior (not sure of the judging criteria, but strikes me should have more than 1 star). I will never visit Paris again without a vist to L'Arome.

A perfect Parisian evening. This was my partners first time in Paris and the restaurant was the perfect place for this. The food was simply excellent, both the vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The products were fresh, local where possible and if the highest quality. The chef was incredibly nice and attentive and frequently came to enquirer about the meal, which helped make this a great experience, and went out of his way to incorporate some additional preferences in the dishes. The sommelier was incredibly passionate, happy to talk to us about the wines, and ended up recommending a few terrific ones. The price-ratio is likely one of the best ones we’ve encountered in the last years (globally) for this level of food, making this one of the most positive experiences in general and the best culinary experience in France. We can’t wait to go back next time we’re in town!
